You'll likely have to locate several cores & see if one of them has a smaller jet(s). I'd think a later one (in the years they were used) would be leaner
live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

i still gotta find out where my dad went to get that bumper for the road runner...that guy might have extra carbs you can scrounge. but that was many moons ago...purple ones at that.
i didnt get a chance to see my dad today, so i'll check with him tomorrow and give you a call.

Here's an old school idea. Clean the jets, solder them closed and redrill them to what you need. Yeah I know, the flow may not be ideal but it doesn't sound like you're running a race car. Might be worth a try on some extra jets.

The older BBD's are air metered (like the '71 and older Thermoquads) VS the newer "tin top" solid fuel BBD's. Jet and rods don't swap. Newer BBD's are more adjustable on the travel of the metering rods.
IIRC there is some adjustment on the metering rod tree. That would be the Allen head screw. Notate where you start at so you can return.
What are you running this on?

Good idea that will fail, the metering rod will wear the solder away when driving.
