Where is the best place to get a gasket that fits the p4876548 SB racing water pump? We had been getting parts from Gaerte, but cant get ahold of them for some reason. I tried Mancini and Hughes. Gonna try Stanton tomorrow. Any other suggestions? THANKS, Bob P.

Honestly, the last set I recieved on my Proform small block pump turned to mush when the coolant hit them. I had to pull the plate and the pump all back off thinking the rtv was leaking, and it was the gaskets, not the rtv...Now I have blue rtv on it, and no gaskets and no leaks. I wasn't able to order any either when I tried to order some from Hughes. They were out and they said for some time they haven't had any.

If it is a good flat machined surface, couldnt you use anerobic sealer and no gasket. That stuf is GREAT as long as it is very flat and clean.

Mr P, I believe this pump could be used on any cast iron block, but you must use the aftermarket "sand cast" front cover. This one is on an aluminum block. It is a Zeus Casting. Mancini said they are discontinued. I was hoping that someone might have one on their shelf. I would prefer a gasket, but it sounds like RTV might be the way to go... THANKS, Bob P.

Burnincircles I have a couple different water pump gaskets.

Is this what you are looking for?

That does appear to be the correct gasket. I would be interested in purchasing one. How can I get ahold of you?

Get two.
They can't be too expensive and next time , you'll have one on hand.
