I contacted American Collectors insurance & they were twice what I pay now and got a bit of a runaround about insuring a race car, Hagerty said no way to a race car.
I insure mine through Kincaid insurance, in Ohio. It's around $900 for the year for the car, contents of the trailer, and the trailer. It goes by the value and my stuff is insured for a value of $90,000? Good luck, I've never had to claim them so can't say how good it is, but he's a racer.

I had my Duster insured by State Farm as well...it was insured for fire and theft only..all my trailers are also insured by them, but those include liability, collision, theft and fire...it isnt that much per year....you need to get special insurance for the track but as far as I know, there is no liability Insurance unless you go to a special Insurance company like whats offered in the National Dragster in their ad pages.....the track has the medical and you NHRA membership has some...but they dont cover the cars
I know there are a few that will insure for the track, but thats mega bucks...

Lutz was like 3 times what my agent is, If I had to pay what they wanted I would sell my cars and quit racing!
Now I don't know if it is because I have had on-track insurance with our agent for 10+ years with out incident or  as my rate seems very reasonable compared to the other companies I solicited last year. I did have a friend that had a claim a few years back and he was paid off and even bought back what was left for a very reasonable sum. My agent is with the Hartland Ins. group that advertises in the back of ND. I will Pm you her email.
