Hey gang, This one has me scratching my head. A few years ago I received a broadcast sheet for a 1970 slant six Barracuda with the M48 code on it. I assumed it was a typo for M46 since it uses the same box on the broadcast sheet. But today, I received yet another 1970 Barracuda broadcast sheet, 318 car this time, with M48 on it as well. M has to be some kind of moulding, but what? Both cars are also coded seperately for M21, M26, & M38, so it rules those out of course. Does anyone know what it could be? I can not find anything on it anywhere..... If someone has an original window sticker or factory invoice showing a description for M48 on a 1970 Barracuda I would love to see it. Thanks, Barry

Is the M48 on the fender tag or do you just have the build sheets for them? What plant were they made at?
