Jeepmon, You must understand the way Chris works: He makes or discovers a mistake the first time, then he repeats the mistake again so that he backs up the original data and confirms it was indeed a mistake! This method of crewchiefing has worked for him for many years, much to the chagrin of his drivers!! Those logbooks would make interesting campfire reading for sure...

Now that's funny.
Congrats on the final Al - I know he's about a non-expensive part taking him out.

Al did an outstanding job of racing today and to have the starter break.. well its just plain messed up..
However looking at the glass half full.. Al not only made it to the final, won a paycheck, but also scored heavy with the points..
Good job Al
Toldya so...

Those are the Jegs All Star points. Everyone is a race or more ahead of me there and will likely stay that way til the selection is made. The Division point sill be out later this week I imagine. Should be third I think, but only two races in so who knows what will happen...
I still suck, just lucky..

I really think MoparBilly is referring to "redundancy" or double checking whether or not it was me or the driver..
And has it worked??
"5 Wallys" 3 different drivers, with my method.. You can decide for yourselves..
Funny stuff though.
Chris..

BTW A,B,C and D Gas certainly have a dial. 7.60, 8.60, 9.60, 10.60 sure sounds like dials to me.

I am glad I'm too old to race and make a 156 MPH car go 10.90. Not DRAG RACING, but finish line racing. I would love to see two cars have a dial and race WITHOUT electronics like the Heritage A,B,C and D gas. That takes talent
I'm too old to race also..
But not too old to understand that it's an equal playing field..
2 of my 5 Wallys are pre electronics.. FYI.. I can play either way, and do. Not just on the internet.

The car counts are growing in Heritage/Pro Gas A,B,C,D these days because these "talented" drivers were/are ducks in the Super Categories. Race whatever category you like, but to say going 156 mph in Super Street makes for easy win or has some huge competitive advantage is incorrect. I have been a crew chief in Super Street (just local stuff) for years and these are some Shark Infested Waters to say the least LOL!
