Looks like the two finally were able to line up side by side in Arizona today...

Al took the tree from Billy and crossed the line first with a break out on a 10.90 dial..

I'm assuming yesterdays results where from the first round on the first divisional race and todays results are from qualifying for race #2, yes or no?

Cab,
It's a double divisional. Thurs time runs, Friday Elims.
Sat time runs, Sun elims.

So it was qualifying and both guys drove them out.

IF it had been Elims, the first round Al would have tugged the brakes and put it in the window Chris and Billy left him.

2nd round, with both fast and the trees nearly identical...Let's just say I'd have paid money to be sitting in a Grandstand between 1000' and finish line for that little dance!!!

Good show guys, looks like they have a handle on things for tomorrow!

Yep.. Billy and Robbie were there trying to help him.. Looks like a bad starter..

Don't know what else to say..

We broke last week with 3 cars left @ the NHRA National, and Al's starter goes bad in the NHRA Divisional Final..

Chris..

Al did an outstanding job of racing today and to have the starter break.. well its just plain messed up..

However looking at the glass half full.. Al not only made it to the final, won a paycheck, but also scored heavy with the points..

Good job Al

arrgh a no start...that has to be the worst way to go down short of damaging the car, good deal with the RU though.

Yes HE did..

As for us, it would take awhile to explain our weekend..

Made some really good progress on my rocker situation, after a few knowledgeable B1 guys weighed in...

The car picked up, and I chased my tail in the second race.. Motor is now lean.. Pro-System carb.. (another funny story)..

The first race we lost in the second round..(wasted a .006 light).. Major T-Stop malfunction..

Had a great time with Al this weekend, and my guys..(Billy and Robbie) stayed with Al till the end..

I've got some video and pics..

Chris..

Cant wait to see the video's and pics Chris..

So now that the panic of the racing weekend is over.. what exactly happened with the rockers? Share your experience so (me) other (me) wont (me) make the same mistakes..
