My '69 Roadrunner runs right at the 11.00 to 10.95 fully dressed through the mufflers @ 3750 lbs without me in it so it is around 4000 lbs setting on the starting line. I have a 457CID motor with B1-BS heads and a M1 tunnel ram. Richmond 5 speed with Caltracs. If you lighten the car you will go quicker and faster without having to have to much motor. A Duster/Demon type car with a good 408 should be able to run those numbers.

My 63 Sport Fury has run 10.70's so far with only 7 passes on the eng. I drive it to the track and run on 92 pump and race thru the full exh system. Here is the combo : 440 block .030 over with 440Source 4.15 stroker kit for 493 cubes. Dished pistons to get 10.6 comp with the Indy EZ heads I use. Custom grind solid flat tappet from Dwayne Porter of 264 & 270 at .050 and .630 lift with my Hughes 1.6 rockers. Indy dual plane intake with an 850 DP. Mallory dist and MP orange ECU box. 2" TTI headers and 3" X-pipe exh to rear bumper. 727 with reverse manual V/B and 9.5 Dynamic converter that flashes about 4200 but really drives great on the street. 8-3/4 with 4.30's and I use a 30 x 9 tire. Car weighs just over 3700 with me in it and has run best of 10.76 @ 124.49 so far. I think it has easy 10.50's in it when I get time to work with the combo some. Ron

I'm hoping my old truck is a might bit faster than 10.50 this summer. I'm waiting on Jeff@MCH to tweak my heads a bit more. Dave
