Thought I would throw this pic out there for anyone with an early B body considering a HHR fan.
I am running a 67 B body K frame so my engine is sitting back a bit. ( bout an inch)
I dont think the HHR fan would ever fit with the engine mounted in the stock location.
I used to care but....... things have changed

Thanks! I've been looking at electric fan options in case my clutch fan doesn't get the job done. I'm sure the HHR fan won't fit mine since it has the original style K.

I never realized that early B's had such space limitations fore/aft of the engine until I put this car together! What a PITA!

Looks like its just over 3 5/8" from the fins.

So what year is your B and when did the eng location change?

so what year HHR do you look for to get one? GM part # also? thanks!
- 67 coronet 4dr, 383/727/GVOD, blown, EFI, daily driver
- 230/238, 114°LSA cam, 1.6 rollers, 9:1 comp, 8 psi boost
- NEW BEST ET - 12.40@110mph...
