Thanks for answering that because I wouldnt have been able to. Mark @ Bullet will be handling my camshaft needs. I do know my engine has a 50 mm cam.

Some of the chevy guys around here went to Cobo and called me from the show to tell me about this Badass black Demon that was there. Looking forward to seeing it in person. Will you be at Milan this Saturday for the grudge event?

Thanks for posting this build. You have done an excellent job on your car. WOW!
Keep up the good work!
I'm going to build a 440" W9 and put it in a '71 Demon (street car).

Looks good, those headers are nearly identical to mine, except you took the easy route with the round outlets on the header ports!

Forming mine to the stock shape flanges was a bear.

11.48 @ 120 with a 1.80 60' 318, stock 1.88 heads, stock 904, Pump Gas, 13 lbs of boost.

9.94 @ 134, 318 on pump gas, 14 lbs w/ Eddies, transbrake 727, 3600 lbs, 3.54 gear and 28's.

Post some pics of yours.
There is a big difference in port shape and size from a 318 head to an Arrington cnc'd W8. My primarys are 2" because they have to be 1 7/8 i.d. I didn't really take the easy route, I took the only route. Just sayin.

I know the round was mandated by the heads/size, just joking around. I WISH mine were round (and Arrington CNC W8's for that matter).

How many of the doughnuts did you end up using? They are the tightest CLR you can get in 2" correct? Beautiful workmanship on the car!

I love this build. You are obviously going to beat my Challenger out in the local D/R classes. Can't wait to see it in person at the track.

Thank you, all donuts have the same clr as the diameter of the said donut. I used a total of four donuts, the rear tubes on both sides are the only mandrel bent tubes on the headers. The donuts are 10 times nicer to fit up than the mandrel bends because they are very round. The mandrel bends have been stretched on the outside of the radius and become ovaled which makes the fit bad. And yes they are the tightest clr you can get. Jody

Thank you, you must have more confidence in me than I do. I know that I am making progress but it seems like I am still so far from done, and there is so much to spend.
