you don't meet too many people in life that actually makes a difference.Gary is one that does.Always happy to help in any way he can.You will be missed.Maybe he was too good for this world.

I dont beleive it!!!!!!! Unfortunately I never got the chance to meet Gary in person, and sadly never will. Knowing him only through Moparts, he was a great guy!!!!!! What a tragic loss . My heart goes out to all his family and friends.

My God, I am in shock over this. Gary helped me with some parts for my 340 a few years back and was very helpful in helping me select the right parts for my project at the time. Like they say you never know when your name will be called. This just makes me think about all my friends and family and how short life really is. It is funny how you can speak to a person by phone or e-mail or on a board such as this and be touched by the news of ones passing. I feel that I know so many people thru this board that have a love for mopars like myself and feel so touched and sad for someone that I have never met in person. My heart goes out to Garys family in this time of sorrow. I will miss you Gary [UNLAWFUL].

I am truly shocked. Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to Gary's family. He will be truly missed on the Mopar Family Forum (aka Moparts).

I didn't know unlawful personally either, however, I'm in shock as well. Not only will everyone on the board miss him, but so will the community that he bravely served. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.

i truly am stunned... gary was the first moparts member i met in person. it's few and far between these days that you meet someone as helpful, giving & generous as he... someone that never asks for anything in return.
i'll miss ya.

Gary paid the ultimate price doing a job he respected and serving his community to make it a safer place. What a horrific loss to the law enforcement community and the Moparts family. Godspeed brother....RIP Officer Davis.

Wow . I only chatted with him once or twice in various posts. I didnt know him much but My deepest sympathy to his family. He seemed like a very genuine guy and will shurely be missed here in moparts.

I never had the opportunity to meet "unlawful" in person but always enjoyed his posts here on Moparts. This is a tragic loss and I send my deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.

Hard to believe. I read this post this morning.I only
knew him from here, but it felt like I lost a family member. Never met him, 1000 miles away. He had a lot of friends. Prayers go out to Gary's family.

I just learned of the loss of Gary. It breaks my heart. God bless his family. Rest in peace Gary.

OOOOOOOOOOh Man!!!! This is not what I wanted to hear.
I'm shocked. Never met him in person ....only here on Moparts . He must have been a good person..... all the members can't be wrong.
From our conversations , he seem like a nice guy and always ready to help. A great sense of humor.

I told my mom who is 80 yrs old and her reply was
" Life is a race and he just finished ahead of us"

He was tops in my book. Very stand-up guy, always tried to look at both sides of a dispute. Good Mediator. Never met the man wished I had , kinda glad I didn't, it would make the loss even tougher.
The loss of a fine man such as Gary is hard to swollow, however his memory will live on an be cherished by his close friends, and the Moparts Community

OMG!!!! Just came home and read the the post for the first time.
I'm at a total loss for words, I'm in shock.

Wow, this is horrible! Like others, I never met him in person. He seemed like a genuine person and will be missed! My condolences to his family and those moparts members who knew him well.

this is some very sad news. i could not really belive what i was reading here.

this just shows us all, that you do not know when your time is up. we should live life to the fullest. i think we all know that Gary was just that kind of a person. he has made many friends he has helped many people and he is loved. Gary will be someone that will be remembered by many people for a life time.
i will say that this is what life is about. making friends, helping people, and loving and being loved. in its truest form, this is what we as people should be like. Gary was this kind of person, a real and true person.
i hope i can be half the man that Gary was, that will make me a successful person.

Gary will be missed. i pray that GOD be with his loving wife and friends.
