440 dynod @584 HP @5400 and 640 lb torque @3900 on 108 octane.It has 10.5 compresson,so will be running pump gas.How much of a difference do you guys think running the lower octane will have on the numbers?

With that much horsepower from a 10.5-1 440 you probably have aluminum heads and a nice cam. If so, then it clearly does not need 108 octane and it "MAY" actually pick up a few HP with pump gas.

Ported Edelbrok performers and the cam is a Bullit custom .540 lift[need some vacumm],258/258 duration@.050.Its actually a 496 stroker.

Yep, assuming you don't have to back off the timing from its dyno setting you may pick up a bit...

Yep, now i'm thinking he might have some more horsepower hiding in there somewhere. Why is the hp peak at only 5400 rpm?

Yep.just looking at the dyno sheets again.584 at 5400.576 by 5600.566 at 5700.
