Most likely cause is an incorrectly installed #4 cam bearing..

i had the same problem, cam bearing installed wrong and only one side got oiled,my fix was to (wich i dont recomend was to get a long drill bit and pull the cam and drill it and flush but if you are going to pull the cam might as well do it right

30 min ...no oil ....you probably hurt many parts of the valve train ...especially the springs and valve stems.

Did you rotate the crank while priming?

I would sure think that the engine was rotating while it was running for 30 minutes.

It has been found that the cam was also not drilled properly on the #4 journal.

Makes for a mess of a job because of a factory screw up.

You could get you some hollow push rods and use them for a while untill you get a chance to tear it down. I know every one says it won't work but I've been running mine like this for a year. It is working all right untill I decide to tear it down and replace the cam bearing.

I'm just using the lifters that came with my Comp cam. Nearly all the lifters have oil holes in them. I'm just running the stock rockers and they oil very good.
How ??? There is no path for the oil to go from the pushrod cup in the rocker to the underside of the rocker.

Thanks guys for all your HELP. Yes i did rotate the crank while priming,I was told it also could be the rocker shafts were put on wrong?????
That makes no sense , even if you put the shafts on upside down you would still get oil. either the cam bearing is in wrong or the holes in the cam are not there/complete.
