Hello, Able to do 200 passes and minimal spring changes pulling down 1150hp sound awesome to me. Helluva fun ride! Sounds like you got a exactly what you wanted. Great balls of fire! Let us know how the track treats you. Damon

Did you do any pulls above 7500 RPM? It looks like it was still gaining power at the cut off RPM on the tunnel ram sheet
Really, I didn't want them to beat the heck out of it and it won't see anything over 7800-8000 in the traps. So, since I wasn't there, I can't answer that for sure, but I doubt it. When I get it in the car, I'll play with the shift points, but I'm glad it lost less than 40HP with one carb. Marcella did a great job on the intake. Maybe I'll come out to the Mopar deal at Woodburn again next year and you can come over and say hi Cab.

We could have pulled it higher but the plan was not to beat it up on the dyno. It is built with all the best parts and can surely handle the higher rpm. The time slip will tell the true tale! The puff of white smoke at the end of the pulls is steam from the water brake on the dyno, yes the water gets that hot! Overall we are very happy with the results. The engine sealed up well(always a battle with an aluminum block),has great vacuum, and has a flat torque curve. I,for one, can't wait to hear how it performs in the car!!!

Nice! Hey Steve, give me a call next time you plan on running one of those. I'd be interested to come out there and check it out...

Motor sounds great and torque curve is nice and flat, will be very interesting to hear how your car performs by comparision to the B1 engine your were running before IIRC. Best of luck to you the predator is a very nice top end. Are you changing convertors or is the torque similar enough I am wondering if you will need a tighter converter ?

The 604 CID did like the additional air flow. Was that the same tunnel ram with a single carb top? What size are the carbs?
Looks good.
