Xt manifold with a 90mil throttle body. The rear is d-60 with 373 gear with spool the motor will have edelbrocks out of the box comp will be between 8.5 9.0. The cam will be custom at a 113-114 lobe around 500-540 lift this setup should make 7-800 hp

I am running a 833 4 speed. I am sure that third gear will not be able to hold that kind of horsepower.

Did you get those manifolds to fit? Mine hit the steering column.. I have schumaker mounts.. I will be running a 727, JW ulta comp converter.

Redo of the question what did you do to your 727 for a street strip app. What modifications did you do....

727 with a Griener valve body, an super sprag, deep pan, blue clutches, 4.2 or 3.8 lever, and that would be good with the 3.73's
