I have a suregrip clutch type where the case bolts loosened up and let a spider gear go through the case and is trapped in the window area of the case. The case, clutches, and mechanics are still good and look undamaged. I was wondering if maybe non suregrip spider gears will interchange? If not what will?
I know they make new ones but I am having some issues with hours and spending $200.00 when its not important at this time is out of the question.
thank you moparts

Unfortunately, spider gears from an open differential won't interchange.

BTW, a set of repro spider gears cost $100.

Was this clutch type installed in a working chuck ? There is no way on gods green earth for what you say happened without damaging more than a spider gear.
