First time out I know will be interesting.

'66 Satellite, 3.55 gear, 3200 converter (estimate).
451, stock RPM heads, 10:1, solid roller 246/254 with 543/561 lift, performer RPM intake, 750 DP, 1 7/8 headers, 3" bullet mufflers.

This is my drive it every few months car; but I will take it to the track to see what it runs. I'll use either drag radials or slicks.

Thanks

I'm not sure yet either but my guess is about 3600 with me in it. It was already pretty useless on street tires with a 230/236 hydraulic flat tappet cam but that doesn't tell me much about how it will run at the track.

Low to mid 13s. I think the carb will hold you back.

Old, tired, and sometimes broke down. Me, not my car...

low 12's I bet. Maybe high 11's if it leaves well. Fairly heavy car with not much gear or converter. That engine in a dedicated drag car would go 10's.

Little less gear and converter than my car. little less cam, but it's a roller vs. my flat tappet solid. Stealth heads vs. eddys. Same intake & headers. smaller carb... I'll guess 12.60 first time out.

My 67 weighs 3620 without me. Steel wheels on my car.

Its not much off from my old eng. I had the .557 solid cam and 906 heads I worked. But the gear will hold the et down a little as I ran 4.30's with 30" tall tires. Mine went 11.49 best so I will guess 11.90's first time out. Good luck , Ron

I'm betting low twelves with a mph north of 112, mid 11 sec capability with gears, better converter and big slicks. Very good choices on the motor, It should stand tall among similar builds.

Let me preface this with I DON’T KNOW BIG BLOCKS…but I would think you would hit high 11’s.

FWIW, my small block stroker has almost the exact same compression, cam, carb, head (Edelbrock), intake. The only big difference is I’m short about 40 cubes, I run a 4.10 gear and weigh probably about 400lbs less (3250#)…it runs high 10’s.

Yeah that is a odd statement Seeing i ran 10.9s @ 122 consistently with one on my 451, with a "best" of 10.91

I'll say 12.0s or 11.9s @ 113-114
