Guys,
I have 2 Garrett turbos that have no ID tags. How is the best way to tell what size they are. They have a.96 AR on the exhaust side and a.75 on the cold side. I think they are a T6 flange. They came off a series 60 Detroit. Thanks, Bob

take some pics? Get the housings off and measure the inducer and exducer sizes of the wheels.

Does the turbine inlet have any numbers stamped on the inside? .96, 1.23, 1.32, 1.6 would be common.

You'll really need to take the housings off to measure the wheels to know for sure what you have.

Here is what I found. Inlet side impeller is 4.030"(102mm). The exhaust side is 3.700" (94mm).The intake side has A/R .75 cast into it. The exhaust side has A/R .96 cast into it and also is stamped .96 right inside the flange.

Bad turbo you should sell it to me. LOL What are you trying to do? Very large for twins but as a single motor like mine it will work well. That is pretty much the exhaust side I need for my motor. If you want to part with one let me know.

Not bad at all, a 76mm turbo with an 87mm turbine and .96 housing. You're already on a 1.32 housing, right Curtis? What wheel do you have?
