its for longevity at sustained idle time lubing the fp ecentric,t-chain,lowering oil temps and oils at full psi in the heavy duty cooling package on cop cars

whats funny is this 88 gran fury 318-4v cop engine had a windage tray and a 4 qrt car oil pan/90* oil filter adaptor but would take 5.5 qrts to read full when lines were flushed out with oil change
