Meant to be a highway cruiser. Expecting sustained cruise rpms of 2400-2500 or so. He never mentioned anything about ET. I do agree with you that if it were a car intened for the track it could use more converter and a bunch more gear
this is the race section, not the highway cruise section 
Sorry for the cruiser in the race section question, but this is where I hang out and knew I'd get the best info.
Besides, Mrs G-bob takes great pictures of race cars and this car is for her. 
We know the 2.94's are not going to be anywhere close to optimum for 1/4 or even 1/8 mile action, but I don't think this car will ever see a track.
It's a 64 fury convertible that I've been promising her for 3 years would be ready for MATS. As long as she can smoke the tires a little, and it cruises good, she'll be happy.
