We've gone a best of 9.87 @ 138mph. Changed converter and pistons and I think we've only seen 135mph out of it this past season. The "looser" 8" converter has netted us much more consistent 60ft times and running low 10's keeps us legal. We're running an Indy intake topped with a 1050 dominator. CNC ported W5's by Ryan. Probe pistons, eagle rods/crank. Conservative roller cam and aftermarket main caps. We run exhaust on the car and it sounds like a wuss idling through the pits......just the way we like it. We had to tear the engine down after 50 passes due to a porous head. At that time we discovered that a number of the comp cam roller lifters had cracked, thus the early overhaul. We're currently running lifters from Brian at IMM Machine. The engine was happy all summer and we may throw the 9" converter back in next spring to play with it......or our 904 trans/9" set up.

Good luck with that cast crank!!
