Last year I found out I had prostate cancer and I had surgery to remove all the cancer in Oct. 2009.
It has been and will continue to be a life changing event. I now spend more time with family which means less time racing and less time at work (no overtime). It's a shame it takes something so drastic to wake you up and see what you have been missing such as Grand kids growing up, spending valuable time with my daughter and son in law and doing things with my wife other than racing.
I did manage to take the car out a couple times this year and ran a 8.95 @ 149 which was a new best but the car has now sat for months and I have no regrets about that.
This week I got my 1 year blood test back and it showed negative.
I thank God for a 2nd chance at life.
