I had a 440 challenger with 4:10s. I was ALWAYS hitting the megashifter thinking I had another forward gear. I had 29" tall rear tires too. Your 295s are probably 26- 26.5" tall. With the taller tires I had I DID NOT CARE FOR THE 4:10s ON THE STREET. Go with 3:55s. (And your carb is too small for a perf 440)
