THIS IS NOT a REDUCED PLENUM BUT MOD FOR a TURBO DAKOTA.

I am reshaping the runner entrance much the same way. Not shortening the top in the picture which is really the bottom. When you run the Hughes plenum plate you change the shape of the plate. The stock one is sump shaped. Allowing air a straighter path to the runner. Been cutteing and round the runner entrance. They are sqaure stock and angled down more. I am arching the end of the runner to keep it as long as possible while changing the entrace angle similar to this picture. Then I want to extend the shortened side of the runner with sheetalluminum to shrink the plenum and reshape the runner entrance. A lot of work yet to be done. Just ported the head end of the intake. It makes a sharp reduction in size right before entering the head. Probably Dodge figuring on building velocity. Looks like that would be acheived in the pushrod lump. Got the intake on my Mickey Mouse mill cutting the plenum now.
