I ran 12.90's w/ less cam but...

Really? The 60302 is pretty small, like 262/268 advertised, 220/226 @ 0.50".

yes I ran 12.90's in a 67 coronet w/ a 70 440 (maybe 9:1) stock 906 heads, headers, RPM intake, 750 DP and a summit 224/234-465/488 cam. I had a 175k converter and 3.91's.

Great combo! But the 67' weighs 200-400 lbs less
than the average 440 equipped 70' B-body. 70 B-bodies weigh between 3800-4100 lbs depending how
it's optioned.

really? my 67 weighed almost 3900lbs w/ me a 1/2 tank of gas.

How much do YOU WEIGH? And my quotes are WITHOUT
the driver from a "stripper" version to the "fully
dressed" version.

I weigh around 185. The car is was all stock steel, no fiberglass. I did not have the spare and jack in the car. I weighed it at the track, this was an "as raced" weight. I'm guessing after 4-6 passes it'd lose a few lbs of fuel weight. The car did have PS and A/C. The A/C box was in the car but the junk under the hood was removed.

Mr. Y., your car weighs approximately 3645 lbs.
G-O-O-D race weight!! It does make for some good
times at the strip. I bet your sixty foot is
pretty decent for the high 12's you're running!!
What is your MPH? And you really
have gotten that "small" cam to work for you "thru
-the-gears" (low-midrange torque), especially with
the 3.91's!! Good deal.
