OMG.....you see the light. Sorry but, I ran a 6pk setup with tons of problems, swithced to a 3310 carb eddy intake on my 383, ran better and stronger....plugs....never a lick of trouble with rj12yc's, but, i do run an accel coil....maybe the champs want more spark to stay clean as one post previously said about a higher resistance. good luck and just keep trying things to find what YOUR combo WANTS.
