Theres a 1 1/4" nut on the end of the front axle. Conventional vehicle would have a cap over nut and a cotter pin to lock it. You would snug nut but not too tight against bearing. Then lock it with cap/cotter pin.

This FWD has interference fit type nut, no cotter pin set up. Is it to be tightened to the maximumum? Thats what I did and it seems ok but now Im wondering if too tight could be wrong.
