Man, I missed a lot in the few days I haven't been here. I haven't read thru this thread. (no time yet). First, whatever you decide, my best wishes. As you already see, there are many ways to enjoy the sport/hobby. I'd like to submit a vote to the idea of you finishing the street rod (looks good in pics) then finding a kid to race with. I'll keep my eyes open for a good kid, maybe I can recommend.
