I am using the PAC-1225 springs.

OD = 1.550", 250# at 2.00", 765# at 1.20" rated for 0.800" lift.

I don't have the part number handy, but I used Crower +0.100" height Ti retainers to get 1.950" install height. I think the closed pressure at 1.950" is around 270-275. Originally I had also used +0.050" locks to get 2.00" install height, but my T&D rockers would not clear the retainer. It would probbably work if I was using lash caps, but then I would have to get shorter pushrods.

That looks like the answer I have a set of Comp Cams on there now, they set up at 275 on the seat and 670 to 680 over the nose new. This is on my 527 motor that I have been dyno testing carbs and intakes on. I lost two pistons in it due to detonation and I'm putting it back together now, the springs lost around 25 lbs on the seat and over the nose. The motor made peak HP around 6500 RPM and I'm wanting to push that higher so the quest for a better valve spring. Last question, I hope, who has the best deal on those valve springs? Thanks to all of you, together we can help each other

PAC springs ARE the answer.
