I thought about doing the same thing to a 70 Superbee I had years ago. There is a little more involved than just whacking out the post, but it is do-able. I sold it not because it was a post car, but because an RT came along which I was looking for in the first place. But before I sold it I made the choice to leave it because not only are they a little bit more unique than the hardtops, but it will draw red flags to anyone who knows anything about mopar vins or if you ever try to sell it.
