Mike, I lived in the Mojave desert at the top of the Cajon pas, I knew most of the better tranny shop owners in that area thru racing. They told me on more than one occasion that most of thier business, especially in the summer, was from over filled trans missions and lack of changing the fluids. I have seen cars catch on fire coming up the Cajon pass ue to the trans. being overheated and venting fluid onto the exhaust system these where usually people on thier way to Las Vegas doing 70 to 80 MPH uphill with the air conditioning on in the middle of the afternoon and not looking in there rear view mirrors
