Speaking of over filling, remind me or us how many quarts to fill when changing the filter with the mopar deep steel pan on a 727? I just dropped the pan and changed the filter, how many quarts do I use? The reason for the question is I changed to a locking dipstick and not sure if the marks will be correct.

jim it all depends on the size of your converter.
8" converter is around 6.5 quarts with a deep pan.
