Probably the fast idle cam is out of adjustment. I have an actual Chrysler Thermoquad service manual that is more in depth than most anything (1982). I will try to get it scanned and into a .pdf tonight, it is about 45 pages.

It could be numerous things all together, needing minor adjustments for each. I have found the t-bog to be a very finicky carb, but once set, very good.
