Ok, far be it for me to question the intentions of NHRA. But I think the last time NHRA cared about the grass roots racer was in 1955. And from what I gather after reading the "We Were The Ramchargers" book, NHRA never cared for door slammers. I would like to think NHRA is doing this because they see a decrease in enterys to National Events and Points meets and want to plant seeds for future racers, But I have my doubts.
