It's a lot better than it looks. The flash makes what little corrosion that is still there overemphasized.

Keep in mind I picked out the rustiest, nastiest thing I had in the garage to test it out!

I've also done a u-bolt and a splash shield (goes right in front of where the K-from bolts on the framerail) and it was amazing how clean both came out!
