O.K. I rechecked some things. the yoke on the trans or engine centerline is tilted 2.5* down pointing at the rear. The yoke on the rear of the car is tilted 2.5* up. so they are parralel right now. So I need to shim so I have +/- 3* negative so that under power they return to parallel. right?
by the way the MR Gasket pinion shim I have now is a 4* and measures 3/8" on the fat end. NOT exactly a 2x4.....
