what are your cam specs, idle vaccuum in park and gear, and what step up springs are you using?

Cam is the Voodoo 60400, 208/213@50

Idle vacuum is 18" at 1100rpm. In gear it goes down to 16" and 7-800rpm. The step up springs are the middle ones (Orange, 5"). I also checked, and the timing does not change when it goes into gear.

This summer I had it idling at 7-800 normally, then 600ish in gear. Now with it colder it doesn't like idling that low.

This summer I also still had the issue where after a drive it will idle a couple hundred rpms higher than 'idle' (instead of 800 it'll be 1000).

Maybe I just need to send the carb to demonsizzler

switch to the pink (7") or natural (8") step up springs.
