I have the best flex fan I could find as my setup for the 383 in my Duster with a Summit radiator offered minimal clearance. A clutch fan wouldn't fit. I bought a few different spacers and settled one only maybe a half or 3/4" (I don't remember) as its all I could fit - any spacer would have worked though, got mine from Pep Boys.

I've not had one cooling issue.
