got it all back together. The machine shop only charged 35.00 to remove and replace the old bearing and seal. I did put a new seal, in the inner side too, while it was all apart. I thought perhaps, the gear oil was too full... causing it to wash out the seal and leak, but I checked it and the level was a little below the fill hole. So I guess the inner seal just was leaking.
