In my 70 Charger RT 4speed car,Lakewood scattershield and I am running the ceramic coated Hooker Super Comp 1 7/8 headers and a parts store mini starter.
I did not have to ding or alter my headers at all when I installed them and they have excellent clearance near the starter....but if I had to install the starter with the headers on it would not be possible.

I hope my starter works when I go to fire it up!

Again, picking a starter is not the hard part, I was just looking for one that was able to clear headers without Thanks Blakcharger440
