I see what you're doing now.

I wasn't paying attention and see the first adapter went on the block.
I thought they were two different variations of the remote filter.

The two ports, I have marked with red, are the same passage so, you'll
need to plug the one on the left anyway, or you'll have an internal leak.

In other words, you will be pressurizing both ends of the system, with only
partial filtration unless, your adapter blocks it. (plugged in OEM system)

I'd leave the block adapter off and plug the two I have marked.
