Never seen a trans yoke break apart like that, i have twisted the 1350 empire yoke in my a-833 to the point of beating it off the trans with a 4lb. hammer. Old mopar yoke like yours slid right on as did a new 1350 yoke. Billet is the way to go if you can find one.
it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead
