I've wondered about this, it's not tied to car, but your phone app.
So if you're a passenger with someone who's a crappy driver, I guess you get dinged too?

And what about the people that carpool, they think you've driven 2x what you really have?


I think my parents had Allstate for a time and they had a dongle that plugged into their ODBII port that was monitoring the car and sending back info , my dad would occasionally get a letter from them stating he was driving too fast .
