Narrowly escaped buying an Eco diesel in 2017. Glad I did. Friend's was in the shop REPEATEDLY for the same/similar issues.

To the OP...get in and drive a Wrangler/Gladiator. I don't know about the JL version but the JK we have has a significant amount of wind/road noise above 60. Sahara with factory hard top. Acceptable on short trips but I don't know how I ever drove it home from AZ. Spoiled now with how quiet the Ram is.
