I'm going to assume you are removing it towards the Rear of the trans? this may help? LINKY It doesn't want to come off in either direction with the shaft totally out of the transmission. It slips freely in either direction then stops as if it's a press fit. Maybe I just have metal bits stuck inside from what flaked off of the outer surface?
