That seems...not ideal. I suppose that explains why the starter is unhappy. Apparently the little '75' stamped on the head under the valve cover was trying to tell me something. I checked cranking compression before disassembling the car to replace the frame rails and started thinking a bit more about it this morning... the eddie heads are in fact probably not 88 cc, and the great deal I got on a set of L2295F pistons might not have been the best choice. Oh well.
