Since you are using a throttle body injector I would have no issues with operating the system as batch fire, as opposed to sequential injection. Stop and think about it, the throttle body dumps fuel into a carb style plenum manifold just like a carb would. And even with port injectors you will notice no WOT difference. I taught at a technical college, we had a 350 chevy and one of the older ACCEL port injection systems, with a sync distributor and a regular distributor. That I used to show students how to tune EFI. On the dyno it made no difference on WOT power. Sequential injection was designed for emission control at idle and low speed drivability. If you have any size cam at all you will never notice the difference. Sizing the injectors properly and setting up the fuel tables is what makes it run right.
