It's never been "show worthy" but I've actually had freaks come up and check the VIN at the drag strip.

Luckily the fender tag is from a 1968 Plymouth Fury VIP and they can never any make sense out of it LOL......

Looking back, I wish I would have taken more fender tags from junkyard vehicles back in the day, for the same reason.

Maybe I'll try a couple shows when I get it back together.

I used to go to the Mopar show in Centerline, at the Chrysler parts depot (afaik it's defunct now)..
Morons would walk around and nitpick cars (including mine) and act as if their [censored] didn't stink!
I would just ignore their dumbass comments and enjoy the rest of the day, without the nonsense.
