Every time I see one of these builds I'm a little disappointed in my 541. Then, I remember the smooth idle at 800 RPM, high vacuum, and rolling in at 600 lb/ft at 3000. I could easily get more out of mine but that's not what I built it for.

Sadly, no.
I changed jobs and fell into a disaster. 12-14 hour days and 6 days a week. Burned out. It's affected my health.

I'm going back to my prior employer (with a promotion) on Wednesday. My original plan to start today was thwarted by jury duty.

Once things settle down at work I'll get the intake installed, reseal the timing cover and pan then go back to the dyno.

It's been well over 100 degrees here lately so outside activities have been limited anyway.


We are brothers and sisters doing time on the planet for better or worse. I'll take the better, if you don't mind.
