I think the lobes in my custom cam have a little more lift than the TF lobes but I'm not positive on that. I'd have to look it up and I don't have the numbers handy. The other possibility is that the lobes Dwayne used on my cam have more area under the curve even though the published specs are the same. I'd have to know more than the 0.050 numbers to make that comparison.
In either case, the TF combo works really well out of the box and is easily capable of "bolt on" 600 hp.
Andy, what was the overlap for your cam versus the TF cam? If one cam had more exhaust duration than the other, I assume that would make a big difference in characteristics, overlap and installed center line both being different.
