My Duster was seemed more sensitive to track prep than tire brand; at various times I ran Firestones, Phoenix, and last few were Goodyear.
All seemed pretty much the same as far as I could tell.
It liked 7.5-8.0 PSI, I ran tubes, and it was a low-10s 368" SB/904 footbrake deal with modified SS leafs, 6000 stall.
Good track prep - when some really fast stuff was running - would have it carry the ft tires 100 feet out, and it got up on the rear bumper once for 300 feet before I added wheelie bars, set @ 10".
As for the lettering, Bigdad, I removed it with lacquer thinner; no price break = no free advertising...
